60-DAY HELMET RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At Chop Helmets, we know that your lid and your cockpit are sacred. We build our low-profile vintage helmets with absolute dedication to premium shell quality, impact absorption, and flawless finishes. If your new helmet doesn’t sit perfectly, or if it doesn’t meet your exact expectations in the garage or on the highway, we have you covered across the United States, North America, and Europe with our extended 60-day return and exchange policy.
1. EXTENDED 60-DAY SATISFACTION WINDOW
We offer a solid 60-day return window starting from the exact date your package is marked as delivered by the carrier tracking system. This gives you plenty of time to safely measure, inspect, and evaluate the fitment of your gear inside your own workspace before hitting the road.
2. ELIGIBILITY & HELMET CONDITION REQUIREMENTS
To ensure a successful refund or exchange, returned items are strictly inspected by our warehouse technicians. The helmet must meet the following factory-clean criteria:
- Brand New Condition: The helmet must be completely unworn and unused. It must never have been ridden on the road or exposed to highway speed wind.
- Flawless Paint & Shell: The outer shell (whether matte or gloss), premium paint job, universal steel snaps, and trim must be completely scratch-free, with no dings, chips, or road debris marks.
- Pristine Liner: The moisture-wicking comfort inner lining must be perfectly clean, dry, and entirely free of sweat marks, hair products, makeup, or odors.
- Original Packaging: The item must be returned inside its original high-density protective box, fabric helmet bag, and with all original factory tags securely attached.
3. STEP-BY-STEP RETURN PROCESS
- Submit Your Request: Email our support team at support@chophelmets.com with the subject line “Return / Exchange Request – Order #XXXXX”.
- Provide Photo Proof: Attach 3 clear, high-resolution photos of the helmet (showing the front, side profile, and inside comfort liner) to confirm its pristine condition.
- Receive Instructions: Our dedicated gear experts will review your request and issue your localized return shipping address or prepaid authorization label within 48 business hours.
- Pack Securely: Place the helmet in its original fabric bag and protective box. Pack it tightly within an outer shipping box with double padding to prevent any structural damage during transit.
4. RESOLUTION OPTIONS: EXCHANGES & REFUNDS
Once your package arrives at our regional distribution center and successfully passes our quality control inspection (typically processed within 3 to 5 business days), you can select your preferred resolution:

5. SHIPPING & LOGISTICS COSTS
- First Size Exchange: The shipping costs for returning the incorrect size and delivering your updated helmet size are fully covered by us (valid across the US and Europe).
- Returns for Refund / Mind Change: The return shipping fee is the responsibility of the customer. The original purchase amount for the product will be refunded in full once inspected and approved.
6. FACTORY DEFECTS & WARRANTY CLAIMS
If you discover any technical flaws, paint finish imperfections, loose universal snaps, or quick-release buckle failures the moment you open your box, contact us immediately. For valid factory defects, Chop Helmets assumes 100% of the return and replacement costs to get a perfect, heavy-duty lid back into your garage immediately.
